Who is Jim West? 

Born Raven Anderew Barker on June 20, 1991, Jim West grew up in the suburburban area of Willingboro, New Jersey. Eventhough Queens,ny is his birth place, his life experiences that shaped his path began in the Garden state. He recieved his first taste of hip hop in 1997 as his brother flipped to side B on the Life After death cassette tape of the late great Nortourious B.I.G. He was intrigued, amazed with the sounds coming from the boombox speakers. The combination of words and the way he could see the images the artist painted with his lyrics gave him goose bumps as he listened eagarley. From then on, poetry was a part his life forever. He began writing countless poems about his experiances as a adolescent. From the confrontation and comedic experiances in middle school to the party life in highschool, he had plenty of amunition. In 2005, his divorced mother decieded it was time for change, and they moved to Spartanburg, Sc. From there, as a Dorman Cavalier, he began his venture as a city type boy simply trying to make it in a country type boy setting. At the age of 18, after completion of High school, he knew what he wanted to do. He knew the years of writing poetry and freestyling with his friends wasnt just a hobby. He knew music, his first love, was his calling. At that moment, the rise of Jim West began..

What is TeamWest?

TeamWest is an alliance of fans who admire Jim West and friends’ effort to exceed whatever the normal standards of great are. As an entertainment company striving for exellence, the Team West brand represents much more. Teamwork, persistence, and patience are core traits that makes the company what it is. Teamwork, the combined action of a group of people, esp. when effective and efficient, is a major assest of the brand’s personality. Much like a game of chest, a person is only as good as the king, one move a time. As a group, if teamwork is applied correctly, people can acomplish things with God-like speed. Helping and congradulating your neighbor is much more effective than opposing him, whether he is doing well or not. Persistence , continuing firmly or obstinately in a course of action in spite of difficulty or opposition, is also an important trait of the company. Whether it be musician, actor, or even business owner people in general always give up. Having faith and beliving are the most important things you can do to survive. We at TeamWest believe the sky is nowhere near the limit and impossible is only and excuse to be lazy. If impossible truly exsisted, we wouldnt be able to walk into a room and flick a plastic man-mad switch to spark a natural element like electricity to use as light. Lastly, we embrace patience. Nothing happens before its time. Even though you have to work together and be persistant by pushing through no matter what, we know that perfection develops in time. God has a plan and gives you opportunity to achieve what you pray for. We prayed for excellence in our talents. Who is TeamWest?

TeamWest was formed early 2011 by Mr. Jim West himself and the people closet to him who shared the same vision. The orginization consisted of different young entrepreneurs with the same traits as Jim West that drives this company. From music, to videos, and much more these young minds help shape raw ideas in to reality.  Born November 24, 1985 , Jim West’s brother, B-Tonez began producing hip-hop music beats at the early age of 16. Through the years he developed his sound as well as his knowledge of the music business and has made a major contribution to the TeamWest coorporation. Producing whole mixtapes for artist in the Jersey/Philly area, he soon realized his little brother’s talented gift had opportunity. He began working closely with him summer of 2009. Also a singer/songwriter, B-Tonez produces music in all generes ranging from pop to the hard core hip hop. Writing R&B melodies for males and females B-Tonez has proved himself to be the TeamWest General. Ricky Fields, born  September 14th 1990 in Spartanburg,Sc, serves as TeamWest publicist and bussiness mind. Also host of “RickyGetsNoReala”.  Jim West and Ricky “lil Ricky” Fields have been working closly since the age of 14. The two have grown to develop the perfect partner formula that brings ideas from the coffe table to the screen right before the eyes of fans watching eagarly. The rest of the orginization consists of loyal allies who are leaning forward and looking to the future of success while being in the presence of exellence.

No person is immoral, one day the time will come when everyone’s number will be called. But the creations you actualize during your lifetime will last forever, and that’s what we thrive on. As an entertainment company, our MUSIC and film will live on long after we go.  Forever is something man has yet to conquer, so when  creating and developing a new project, we’re sure to aim to make it relevant and everlasting. Jim West , TeamWest, and everyone who supports and shows love understands greatness isn’t achieved without intense effort, but it cant be verified if the other guy can do it better.
